Inscrutable and self-contained, this Norwegian Forest Cat meets the observer without invitation or apology. There is no performance, only the calm confidence of an individual entirely at ease in his own world. The sculpture explores the quiet mystery that so often defines our relationship with cats: familiar, yet ultimately unknowable.
