Calling All Cat Artists!
We are excited to invite artists, both members and non-members, UK and International artists to submit their work for our upcoming feline-inspired exhibition taking place in our online gallery.
Whether your subject is a cozy house cat or a wild, majestic big cat, this show celebrates the feline spirit. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share your artistic vision with a dedicated community of cat lovers and art enthusiasts around the world.

Submission Details
Can I enter? Absolutely! The exhibition is open to all artists, whether you are a S.O.F.A. member or a non-member, based in the UK or internationally.
How many can I submit? Artists can submit up to three paintings or original prints or sculptures of cats, wild or domestic.
What mediums can I submit: We accept works in oils, acrylics, watercolour, gouache, pastels, pencil, charcoal, and coloured pencil, original prints (etching, linocut woodcut etc.) and sculpture.
Is there a fee? It's free to enter. If your artwork is selected, there is a£20 hanging fee per artist for up to 3 works. If accepted you'll be notified by email with a link to pay your fees.
Will the artwork be for sale? Yes. Artwork must be for sale and not available anywhere else once accepted for the exhibition.
What is the commission? The Society of Feline Artists takes a 25% commission on sales.
When will I know? Selected artists will be notified by the 4th October by email.
Image Requirements
To ensure your work is presented in the best possible light, please follow these guidelines for your image submissions:
- Image Size: Images must be a minimum of 2000 pixels on the shortest side
- Image Quality: Your main image must be well-lit and show the artwork straight-on with no frame or other distractions. If you are selling it framed we need another image of it in its frame.
- Additional Images: You may also include separate images close up details, signature, artwork in your studio etc.

Good To Know
- Work must be for sale and not available through any other outlet during the exhibition.
- The Society of Feline Artists will take a 25% commissionon all sales.
- Wall prices must include tracked shipping within the your country. If you ship internationally you can provide an additional shipping cost for international sales.
- It must be your own work. Pieces must be all your own work and not infringe the intellectual copyright of others.
Important Checklist for Non-UK Artists:
- Currency: Your wall price must be in GBP (£).
- Shipping: Ensure your listed wall price includes tracked postage/shipping within your home country.
- Exchange Rates & Fees: Account for variable currency conversion rates and bank processing fees when converting your local price to GBP.
