S.O.F.A. Membership

The Society of Feline Artists welcomes artists working in any medium or style, as long as cats are at the heart of the work.

That can mean anything from lions, tigers and other wild cats to the smallest domestic cat.

Although S.O.F.A. is based in the UK, our members come from around the world.

We hold exhibitions in galleries around the UK as well as in our online gallery, giving members opportunities to show their work to fellow artists, cat lovers and collectors.

Full Membership

Full Membership is open to ASSOCIATE MEMBERS and is BY INVITATION ONLY.

  • To qualify for Full membership you must have been an Associate Member for a year
  • Have exhibited with SOFA
  • Applicants must be 18 years or over.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to any Artist, over 18 years of age, producing original ‘feline’ art of domestic or wild cats.

  • Membership is by selection panel ONLY.
  • Associates may not use the Society’s initials after their name.

Friends Of The Society

You don’t need to be a participating artist to join. Friends membership is for art lovers,  cat lovers and anyone interested in supporting the activities of the Society Of Feline Artists.

Friends will receive:

  • Newsletters
  • Invitations to forthcoming exhibitions
  • Notification of any other activities of the Society

How Much Does It Cost?

Annual Subscriptions are:

  • Friends – £15.00
  • Associated Members – £30.00
  • Full Members – £30.00
