Tamsin Lord S.O.F.A.
Tamsin grew up in a fun loving family with an abundant range of pets who all provided inspiration for her developing interest in art–but the cats were always her favourite models!
Tamsin studied a degree in Sculptural Ceramics and after graduating, started experimenting with different mediums. After some years she began specialising in miniature paintings, using fun interpretations of her still favoured feline subjects. These proved very popular, and demand led her to increase the scale of her paintings into larger formats. So, from miniature beginnings, evolved her unique style of humorous, contemporary feline art-affectionately referred to in the Lord household as the‘ Fiendish Felines’.
Tamsin joined the Society of Feline Artists in 2011where she exhibited for the first time, and has been exhibiting with them ever since: ‘SOFA is such a great way to meet other artists who share a love of portraying our feline friends, and the exhibitions are a fantastic opportunity to showcase and celebrate our work.’
