Whisper of Rosettes

Leopards have a way of looking both breath-taking and slightly terrifying at the same time. The thing about leopards is you rarely see them in the wild, but when you do, you never forget. It is a fleeting and heart-stopping encounter. For me, painting this felt like a whispered conversation with the wild, and a realisation that there’s something about a leopard that will continue to resist being fully known.
