Two Of A Kind

This came from one of my own reference photos. The two cheetahs had heard something and were looking in different directions, and I loved the moment between them. I chose watercolour because I wanted to loosen up my approach and experiment with creating fur without trying to control every mark. It was a chance to play with the medium while still capturing the character and connection between the two cheetahs.

A watercolour painting by Jo Harmison.
