A warm and expressive watercolour painting of a long-haired tabby cat, painted on 14 x 10 inch Bockingford watercolour paper. This portrait focuses on one beautiful eye, soft golden fur and delicate tabby stripes. There is something wonderfully intimate about this kind of composition, as if she has just settled beside you and is looking up from your lap.
Her fur is full of warm golden tones, balanced with gentle stripes and pale teal whiskers. Painted in watercolour, she has a loose, expressive feel while still capturing that unmistakable tabby character.
